In term one we studied narrative as part of our literacy programme. This “optional” assignment will help you remember the things we covered in class.
Task
You need to complete a book review for a book you have read as part of your homework (or DEAR) reading. You could use a template available from me, design your own or search for one on the net (there are lots available).
Your book review should include:
Plot
Complication
Resolution
Coda
Setting
Character description
You might also like to include something about the author and other books the author has written.
Assessment
This project will be self-assessed and evaluated by your peers. Your poster will be displayed in the class and/or in the school library. Our next class novel will also be selected from the completed posters.
